Upon completing her film studies in Canada (Université de Montréal, MA en études cinématographiques), Effie Skrobola started working in the film and event industry alongside producer Costas Labropoulos and CL productions, as an Associate Producer. Effie had the opportunity to work for various local and international projects and public events, acquiring valuable experience in planning, coordinating, networking, communicating and team-working.

Since 2010, in her capacity of Creative Producer, she oversees the development of all View Master Films & Events projects, from major events such as the Kalamata International Dance Festival and the Summer Nostos Festivals, to international co-productions of feature films. 

Effie holds a BA in Mass Media and Communication from the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens and has completed the Maia Workshop training program for emerging producers (Italy, Germany, Poland) and the Sources 2 Projects & Process – Training Mentors for European Screenwriters and Filmmakers workshop (Germany). 

In 2019 she founded her own Canada based company Mitos Productions specializing in development consulting.
