The Hellenic Olympic Academy, an initiative launched by the Hellenic Olympic Committee, organized an event reviving the first Modern Olympics of 1896, at the Panathenaic Stadium in downtown Athens. Hundreds of students of schools from all over the country, volunteers, athletes and Olympians, dancers, actors and performers participated in the event.

The group enacted scenes from the original Games providing everybody the opportunity to participate in a unique experience.
